Abstract

  • In April 2025, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency experienced a year-on-year (y-o-y) inflation rate of 3.85 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 111.59.
     
  • The y-o-y inflation occurred due to rising prices, as indicated by the increase in several expenditure group indices. Among the groups that experienced inflation were : Food, beverages, and tobacco group: 2.90 percent;Clothing and footwear group: 3.78 percent;Housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group: 8.67 percent. In contrast, some expenditure groups recorded price declines (deflation), such as: Information, communication, and financial services group: 0.43 percent
  • The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate for April 2025 stood at 1.34 percent, while the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 2.56 percent.
