Abstract

Paddy harvested area in 2023 reached 504.14 thousand hectares, experiencing decrease of 9.24 thousand hectares or 1.80 percent compared to 2022, which was 513.38 thousand hectares.
Paddy production in 2023 is 2,832.77 tons of dry unhusked paddy (GKG), experiencing increase of 57.70 thousand tons or 2.08 percent compared to 2022, which was 2.775.07 thousand tons of GKG.
Rice production in 2023 was 1,626.74 thousand tons if it was converted into the rice for food consumption, an increase of 33.14 thousand tons or 2.08 percent compared to 2022, which was 1,593.60 thousand tons
