Abstract

In December 2024, year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency will be 1.48 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.80.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index. Judging from inflation, each group, namely: housing, water, electricity and household fuel, was 5.81 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.25 percent; health group at 3.68 percent; transportation group by 0.22 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 5.68 percent; education group by 1.77 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 4.59 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 11.83 percent. Apart from those that experienced an increase, there were also several index groups that experienced a decline in prices (deflation), namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by -0.65 percent; clothing and footwear group by -1.92 percent; and the information, communication and financial services group at -1.26 percent.

The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Ogan Komering Ilir Regency in December 2024 are 0.70 percent and 1.48 percent respectively.
