Abstract

In November 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency of 0.31 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.04.

Inflation y-on-y occurred due to an increase in prices indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index. Judging from the inflation, each group is: housing, water, electricity, and household fuel group of 5.91 percent; household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance group of 0.08 percent; health group of 3.68 percent; transportation group of 0.27 percent; recreation, sports, and culture group of 5.25 percent; education group of 1.77 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group of 4.52 percent; and personal care and other services group of 11.46 percent. In addition to those that experienced an increase, there were also several group indices that experienced a decrease in price (deflation), namely: food, beverage and tobacco group of -2.68 percent; clothing and footwear group by -5.82 percent; and information, communication, and financial services group by -1.58 percent.

The month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation rate and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation rate of Ogan Komering Ilir Regency in November 2024 were 0.92 percent and 0.77 percent, respectively.
