Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) of Sumatra Selatan Province in August 2021 was recorded at 111.14

·        Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) Sumatra Selatan Province in August 2021 was recorded at 111.14 or an increase of 3.01 percent compared to NTP of the previous month. The increase in NTP is influenced by the Price Index received by Farmers (It) which experienced an average increase of 2.70 percent, while the average Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) decreased by 0.30 percent.

·        The increase in NTP in August 2021 was influenced by the increase in NTP in Food Crops sub-sector which increased by 1.91 percent, Plantation 3.64 percent, Fisheries in general 1.10 percent, Capture Fisheries 1.72 percent and Cultivation Fisheries 0.19 percent.Meanwhile, other sub-sectors that experienced a decline were Plants Horticulture by 0.83 percent and Animal Husbandry 2.25 percent.

·        In August 2021, in Sumatra Selatan there will be rural deflationby 0.50 percent caused by the decline in the average price index in the expenditure group, namely: Food, Beverage Group and Tobacco fell by 0.91 percent and the health group by 0.02 percent. While the other groups who experienced increase, namely: Clothing and Footwear by 0.05 percent, Housing,Water Electricity and Household Fuel 0.35 percent, Equipment,Household Equipment and Routine Maintenance 0.15 percent,Transportation 0.26 percent, Recreation, Sports and Culture 0.26 percent,Provision of Food and Beverage/Restaurant 0.01 percent and Personal Care and Other Services 0.03 percent. Whereas for Information, Communication and Financial Services group and group education has not changed.

·        Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) Sumatra Selatan August 2021 amounted to 111.13 or an increase of 2.24 percent compared to NTUP the previous month.
