Abstract

The Farmer's Exchange Rate (NTP) of South
Sumatra Province in July 2021 was recorded at 107.90 or an increase of 0.95
percent compared to the previous month's NTP. The increase in NTP was
influenced by the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) which increased by an
average of 0.98 percent, while the average Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) only
increased by 0.04 percent.

The increase in FTT in July 2021 was influenced
by the increase in FTT in the Horticulture sub-sector by 1.66 percent,
Plantation 1.53 percent, Livestock 0.65 percent and Aquaculture by 0.90
percent. Meanwhile, other sub-sectors that experienced a decline were Food
Crops by 1.31 percent, Fisheries by 0.20 percent and Capture Fisheries by 0.94
percent.

In July 2021, in South Sumatra, there was a
rural deflation of 0.01 percent caused by a decrease in the average index price
in several expenditure groups which fell respectively: the Food, Beverage and
Tobacco group which fell by 0.06 percent, Housing, Water, electricity and
household fuel 0.04 percent, Information, Communication and Financial Services
0.15 percent and the Personal Care and other services group by 0.16 percent.
Meanwhile, for the groups that experienced an increase, namely Clothing and
Footwear by 0.15 percent, Equipment, Equipment and Household Routine
Maintenance by 0.16 percent, Health by 0.24 percent, Transportation by 0.11
percent, Sports and Cultural Recreation 0.40 percent, Education 0.21 percent
and Food and Beverage/Restaurant Provision 0.05 percent.

The South Sumatra Agricultural Household
Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) in July 2021 was 108.70, an increase of 0.74
percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
