Abstract

  • South Sumatra's NTP in September 2024 increased by 0.60 percent compared to last month's NTP, namely from 123.70 to 124.44.
  • The increase in NTP in September 2024 was influenced by the increase in NTP in several subsectors, each of which increased: Food Crops by 0.50 percent; Plantations 0.79 percent; Fisheries 0.39 percent; Capture Fisheries 0.59 percent and Aquaculture 0.04 percent. Meanwhile, the NTP that experienced a decline were the subsectors: Horticulture by 3.52 percent and Animal Husbandry by 1.05 percent.
  • In September 2024, the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) for South Sumatra Province decreased by 0.43 percent, namely from 123.30 to 122.77.
  • The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for South Sumatra Province in September 2024 was 125.40 or an increase of 0.24 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
