Abstract

Sumatera Selatan’s Human Development Index in 2023 reached 73.18, an increase of 0.70 points compared to previous year.
During the period 2020–2023, Indonesia’s HDI increased on average by 0.72 percent annually.
Sumatera Selatan’s HDI in 2023 reached 73.18, an increased of 0.70 points compared to previous year.
The increase in HDI 2023 occurs in all dimensions, both long life and healthy life, knowledge, and a decent standard of living.
In the dimensions of longevity and healthy living, babies born in 2023 have an expectation of being able to live up to 74.04 years, 0.28 years longer than those born in the previous year
