Abstract
· The paddy harvested area in 2022 will reach around 513.38 thousand hectares, an increase of 17.14 thousand hectares or 3.45 percent compared to the paddy harvested area in 2021 which was 496.24 thousand hectares.
· Rice production in 2022 is 2,775.07 thousand tons of GKG, an increase of 222.63 thousand tons or 8.72 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which amounted to 2,552.44 thousand tons of GKG.
· Rice production in 2022 for food consumption for the population will reach 1,593.60 thousand tons, an increase of 127.84 thousand tons or 8.72 percent compared to rice production in 2021 which amounted to 1,465.75 thousand tons

In 2024, the rice harvest area will reach 521.09 thousand hectares with rice production of 2.91 million tons GKG.
The Paddy harvested area in 2021 will reach around 496.24 thousand hectares, a decrease of 55.08 thousand hectares or 9.99 percent
In 2020, the rice harvested area will be as big as 551.32 thousand hectares with a production of 2.74 million tonnes of GKG. If converted to rice, rice production is at 2020 to reach 1.57 million tons
In 2021, the rice harvested area in Sumatera Selatan is estimated at 492.04 thousand hectares with a production of 2,540.94 thousand tons of GKG
In 2022, the rice harvested area is estimated at 516.26 thousand hectares with a production of around 2,759.34 thousand tons of GKG
