Abstract

The number of air transport passengers coming to South Sumatra in August 2021 as many as 16,050 people or down 17.06 percent compared to July 2021, while the departure of passengers is 17,353 people, an increase of 1.10 percent compared to July 2021.



The number of domestic sea transport passengers who departed from South Sumatra in August 2021 was recorded at 894 people, a decrease of 24.87 percent compared to July 2021, while the number of passengers arriving was 926 people, a decrease of 21.06 percent compared to July 2021. The number of unloaded goods decreased. 18.37 percent to 135,590 tons while the number of goods loaded decreased 22.69 percent to 234,728 tons.



The number of train passengers departing in August 2021 in South Sumatra was 6,061 people, a decrease of 58.95 percent compared to July 2021. During January-August 2021 the number of passengers was 110,746 people, a decrease of 58.96 percent compared to the same period in 2020.
