The Trade Balance Has a Surplus of US $ 57.44 million in November 2020

·       The export value of South Sumatra Province in November 2020 was US $ 304.19 million, a decrease of 8.53 percent compared to the export value in October 2020 which was US $ 332.57 million. Exports in November 2020 were mostly destined for China amounting to US $ 105.86 million (34.80 percent), Malaysia US $ 32.50 million (10.68 percent) and the United States US $ 23.08 million ( 7.59 percent).

·       The top five main export commodities from South Sumatra Province in November 2020 were rubber valued at US $ 103.55 million (34.84 percent); pulp / pulp worth US $ 90.75 million (29.83 percent); coal worth US $ 41.89 million (13.77 percent); palm oil and its fractions US $ 26.21 million (8.67 percent); and tissue paper US $ 7.42 million (2.44 percent);

·       The export value of South Sumatra Province for the January - November 2020 period was US $ 3,213.78 million, down 13.59 percent compared to the export value for the January - November 2019 period which amounted to US $ 3,719.08 million.

·       The import value of South Sumatra in November 2020 was US $ 246.74 million, an increase of 284.12 percent when compared to imports in October 2020 which amounted to US $ 64.24 million. Most of the imports in November came from China amounting to US $ 225.70 million (91.47 percent), Singapore US $ 2.53 million (1.03 percent) and Vietnam amounting to US $ 2.29 million (0.93 percent) ).

·       The import value of South Sumatra Province for the January - November 2020 period was US $ 847.95 million, an increase of 90.59 percent compared to the import value for the January - November 2019 period which amounted to US $ 444.90 million.

·       The types of goods imported with the largest value in November 2020 were electrical machinery and equipment amounting to US $ 118.14 (47.88 percent), machinery / mechanical appliances amounting to US $ 98.95 million (40.10 percent), and fertilizer US $ 8.09 million (3.28 percent).
