Number of tourists visiting Sumatera Selatan on March 2020 as many as 842 visits

The number of foreign tourists (tourists) visiting South Sumatra through the entrance of Sultan Mahmud Badaruddin II Airport Palembang in March 2020 as many as 448 visits, down by 46.79 percent compared to February 2020 which amounted to 842 visits.

 

Most of the foreign tourists visiting in March 2020 came from Malaysia with 275 visits (61.38 percent), Singapore with 48 visits (10.70 percent), and China with 8 visits (1.80 percent).

 

   Room Occupancy Rate (TPK) of starred hotels in South Sumatra in March 2020 was recorded at 39.86 percent, down 13.36 points compared to the TPK of hotels in February 2020 which amounted to 53.22 percent. The highest hotel ROR is five-star hotels at 47.72 percent and the lowest is one-star hotel at 24.77 percent

 

   Average length of stay of guests in South Sumatra in March 2020 at star hotels 1.66 days or up 0.17 days compared to February 2020. With details of 3.05 days long stay of foreign guests and 1.66 days long stay for Indonesian / domestic guests.
