Abstract

The city of Palembang in September 2016 experienced inflation of 0.24 percent

    Commodities experiencing price increases that caused inflation in Palembang City include: red chillies, vegetable tomatoes, rice, instant noodles, and cooking oil. While commodities that experienced a decline in prices / tariffs included air transport, shallots, granulated sugar, carrots, katuk leaves, broiler eggs and potatoes.

Lubuk Linggau City in September 2016 experienced deflation of 0.79 percent

    Commodities experiencing price increases that caused inflation in Lubuk Linggau City in September 2016 included red chillies, oranges, filtered clove cigarettes, vegetable tomatoes and cooking oil. While commodities that experienced the highest price decline included broiler meat, tilapia, spinach, carrots, rice, and sugar

South Sumatra Province in September 2016 experienced an inflation of 0.30 percent

    Based on price monitoring during September 2016 in 82 CPI cities in Indonesia, indicating that 58 CPI cities experienced inflation. The highest inflation occurred in Sibolga City at (1.85 percent), the lowest in Perwokerto and Banyuwangi City respectively (0.02 percent). Whereas 24 CPI cities experienced deflation, the highest in Pontianak city at (-1.06 percent), the lowest in Kendari city at (-0.01 percent)
