The August National Labor Force Survey (SAKERNAS) is rolling out again for 2024 simultaneously throughout Indonesia. Currently BPS OKI Regency is carrying out one of the initial stages to produce quality data, namely the Training for SAKERNAS Officer Candidates in August 2024. The training will be held in the period 22 to 24 July 2024 at the Luminor Hotel, Palembang. The August 2024 SAKERNAS training in Ogan Komering Ilir Regency was attended by 34 officers consisting of 23 PPL BPS Partners and 11 PML BPS organic employees. This training activity was officially opened by the Head of BPS OKI Regency, Mrs. Anugrahani Prasetyowati, SST, M.Sc. On this occasion, the Head of BPS Ogan Komering Ilir Regency advised prospective officers to follow the training carefully so that they can understand the concepts and definitions thoroughly so that when carrying out data collection in the field they can dig in depth. Apart from that, officers are expected to be able to adapt to technological developments, considering that SAKERNAS data collection is carried out using the FASIH application. This training was carried out intensively for 2 effective days, guided by 2 regional instructors, namely Fadlullah and Shinta Mahaputri Hakim. Participants looked enthusiastic in taking part in a series of training, question and answer discussions and fun games held on the sidelines of the training. At the end of the training session, role playing was also carried out in turns by prospective officers, especially new officers. So that officers can experience field implementation simulations earlier. Training activities are also directly controlled by the leadership to ensure the training process can run according to the predetermined schedule. In the Closing Session, rewards were given to the best participant, namely Akhmad Khoirul Muminini from Mesuji District. It is hoped that giving this reward can motivate prospective officers to provide their best performance for quality data. The data produced later from SAKERNAS in August will describe the employment conditions of OKI Regency. With quality data, government programs can provide benefits to society.
